Designer Teddies from Artist Sudey Babes
Welcome to my world of Warm Fuzzies!
I've been an avid arctophile and teddy designer for 25 years and am completely enamoured of the entire creative process from inking out a pattern to tying on the perfect bow.
All the Sudey Babes are original designs and stand between 3 1/2 ~ 12 inches. Most are fully jointed and of collectible quality, and not meant as toys...but there are a few very huggy bears that are perfect and safe for little hands.
I work with imported Mohair, Alpaca and Luxury Faux Furs. Each Babe has their own personality and name tag, and comes with a separate signature Sudey Babe charm necklace (even the gruffest of bears need to accessorize now and then!) No two are alike, and they will be the first ones to tell you that they have the most appealing personalities!
I create my bears in the Classic, Antique and more contemporary styles that fit any decor or *hug*. The families include the Grizz, the Cubbies, and the Inspirational Babes.
The mini Babes are totally handstitched and hand jointed with heavy nylon thread. Larger bears have safety joints. I use glass beads for eyes, and perle cotton or embroidery/crewel thread for the noses. All bears are stuffed with pure polyfil or pellets. All new materials.
