The most incredible breed of dog I ever owned was a Golden Retriever. His name was Willie and he died at a very young age of a heart condition. During his short life and through all the trials he suffered due to his bad health, Willie was a perfect example of this amazing breed's gentleness, patience and unconditional love. In creating this Golden pup, I've tried to capture not only Willie's innocence as a puppy, but also that endearing Golden personality that is so eager, alert and self-confident. This little Golden pup is created from thick straight Schulte Mohair with German glass eyes and resin nose; hea jointed only. Facial shading is hand painted.
