Description
This auction is for the rare and breathtaking Boyds Bearstones "Beatrice---We are Always The Same Age Inside." This beautiful 1998 limited edition is numbered October#3906. Captured on the bottom of this beautiful piece are two very lovely quotes: "Life was meant to be lived, and curiosity must be kept alive. One must never, for whatever reason, turn his back on life." - Eleanor Roosevelt; and "Life is no brief candle to me. It is sort of a splendid torch that I have got hold of for the moment." - George Bernard Shaw. There is an inscription on the back of the mirror which reads: "Beatrice & Sigfried Oct 31 Love Conquers All Things." This piece measures approximately 5 inches tall and comes complete with box and certificate. Value of this piece according to the Boyd's collector's guide is in excess of $180. Mint condition.
