Please meet beautiful 16" Soleil, meaning sunshine in French, crafted from a rusty, feathered sparce mohair by the talented artist Nancy Tillberg. She has leatherette paw pads in a carmel shade. Her face has been meticulously plucked free of mohair, and then the cotton backing has been shaded with various shades of pastels. She has an embroidered nose and sparkling, moss green German glass eyes with delicate felt whites and leather lids, and lashes. There is a subtle hand pastel tinting on the eye area in shades of green that bring out her best features. Soleil is 5 way lock nut jointed and is stuffed with acrylic fiber with a steel shot in her rump for added weight. The artist created a unique shaped torso by using several darts to shape her waist. Her arms are wired for added pose-ability. Her dress is a gorgeous, sheer, multicolored gown made by Fran of Jazzy Rags in Australia. It measures approximately 18" from her shoulder to the tip of the lace. She is also wearing a cream satin panty and a bow from the same material as the dress. The lace on this long gown is absolutely unbelievable! I purchases her from the artist in June of 2006. A wonderful bear in an unbelievable dress! She is in excellent to mint condition. The only flaw I see is that her beautiful orange butterfly has an unattached line up through one wing. She is a OOAK bear in a series of bears made from the Antique Ted pattern in the artists book "101 Bears to Make", by Nancy Tillberg. I accept Money Order payment, Postal Money Order preferred. Payment must be mailed so that I receive it within 7 days of purchase. Shipping will be exact Priority with an dditional $4.60 for required insurance. All sales are final. Thanks so much for looking.
